CANTERBURY BASEBALL CLUB

Canterbury Baseball Club relies heavily on its volunteers and support team. Without team managers we would struggle to support each team within the club.

 

The role of a manager is to assist both the team and coach to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Below is a short list of some of the jobs that team managers will need to assist with:

• Collating up-to-date team lists and distributing it to your coach and team.

• Liaising with the Club Registrar to complete all required team forms 

• Creating team contact groups (i.e. email, text, whatsapp) 

• Delivering all relevant club information to the team (i.e. draws, training details, club fundraisers, club events, etc)

• Organising game day rosters for any required game day duties.
  This may include:

  • Canteen or BBQ

  • Scoring

  • Ground Set Up/Pack Up​

• Completing and processing CSJBA Score Sheets

• Sending in the Match Report

• Liaising with the Club Committee

• Attending any Coaches and Managers meetings scheduled by the club
